Quick answers
How do I join the beta?
The external beta is available where Apple offers TestFlight and subject to Apple's tester eligibility rules. MizuCue does not impose a separate age requirement. When a public TestFlight link is available, use it to join directly while space remains. You can also use the beta request form on the MizuCue home page to request an email invitation. The MizuCue beta supports English, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese. Beta support is primarily in English. Capacity is limited, so access is not guaranteed.
How is my beta email used?
MizuCue uses it only to review your interest, manage beta access, send a TestFlight invitation if selected, and provide related support. It is not used for unrelated marketing or sold. You can ask Support to delete the beta interest record.
What can I use for free?
Live Status and the most recent hour of History are free. MizuCue continues retaining up to one rolling year on the iPhone, but viewing longer ranges, older connection events, and exporting PDF/CSV reports requires the annual subscription.
How does the annual history subscription work?
The App Store shows the price for your storefront and any one-week introductory trial for which Apple says you are eligible. The price and billing period Apple shows before confirmation are the terms that apply to your purchase.
How do I cancel or manage the subscription?
Open MizuCue Settings and choose Longer history, or open iOS Settings, your Apple Account, and Subscriptions. Canceling stops renewal. Access remains active until the current paid period ends. Cancel a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid renewal. Trial access may end when canceled. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
What happens to my history after cancellation?
Nothing is deleted. After paid access expires, the most recent hour stays available and longer ranges lock. Resubscribing immediately reveals retained history that has not aged out or been deleted.
How do I restore a purchase?
Choose Restore purchases from MizuCue Settings or the history sheet while signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Can I receive another free trial?
Apple decides introductory-offer eligibility. Returning subscribers may see the annual price without another trial.
How do I request a refund?
Apple processes the payment, so refund requests must be submitted through Apple's Report a Problem service.
Will a TestFlight subscription test charge me?
No. Purchases made from a TestFlight build use Apple's sandbox testing environment and do not create a real charge. TestFlight may shorten subscription renewal timing so developers can test entitlement changes.
How do I leave the beta or request deletion?
Open MizuCue in TestFlight and choose Stop Testing. You can also email support to request deletion of developer-held recruitment or exported feedback copies, subject to narrow legal and security exceptions. Apple controls its own TestFlight records.
Why was the router not checked?
If the internet still works, MizuCue may show Router was not checked or Not directly visible. This often happens on managed, hotel, campus, mesh, VPN, or isolated networks that do not answer local gateway checks. If the internet is also unavailable, confirm the iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and that Local Network access is enabled for MizuCue in iOS Settings.
Internet checks failed
MizuCue waits for the configured interruption threshold before creating an event. This means selected checks did not receive the expected response on this iPhone. It does not establish provider fault or service-wide availability. Open Internet details to inspect the check results.
History has gray sections
Gray means MizuCue did not measure during that period. This can happen when the app was closed, suspended, or unable to run a check.
A connection event feels too sensitive
In Settings, adjust Detection sensitivity for the Wi-Fi router or internet. A Wi-Fi disconnect is always recorded immediately.
iCloud backup is not completing
Verify that iCloud Drive is enabled, MizuCue is allowed to use iCloud, and the device has a working internet connection. Leave the app open while testing a first backup.
I want to remove an iCloud backup
Open Apple's Files app, browse iCloud Drive for the MizuCue backup folder, and delete the files you no longer want. Deleting local history inside MizuCue does not delete an existing backup.
When is the Mac version coming?
MizuCue for macOS is in development. It is not included in the current iPhone beta, and there is no announced release date yet.
What happens when I share a report?
PDF and optional CSV reports are created on your device. Custom names, custom hosts, and router addresses are hidden by default; public test endpoints remain visible. Review optional notes and identifiers before choosing an app or recipient. Deleting history does not recall shared reports or remove saved copies.
I want to erase my data
Use Delete history in Settings to remove stored measurements. Clear connection events separately from the History tab. Delete iCloud backups and exported reports separately. For beta-request or support records held by MizuCue, email Support; stop testing and contact Apple separately for Apple-held TestFlight information.
Still need help?
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, MizuCue version, the approximate time of the issue, and a screenshot if one helps explain it. Redact Wi-Fi names, IP addresses, router identifiers, photos, and notifications. Do not send passwords, Apple Account credentials, Wi-Fi passwords, exact home addresses, or private backup files.
We aim to respond within two business days, but beta support and response times are not guaranteed.
